My life savors ...

I've been running around like crazy this week, here are a couple things that have helped me look put together when in reality I'm running out the door with half my world shoved into my bag.....

This is by far the softest, exfoliant I've ever tried. Its like smoothing the inside of an almond croissant all over your skin, its that delicious and wholesome and makes me look radiant when I've had no sleep
I love the instant tint this gives my skin, plus it doesn't smell like self tanner so I can apply it in the morning.

Ohh the messy bun.........

Secret Camouflage -- greatest. concealer. E.V.E.R.

this week

Here's a few things from the week that have made me smile:

Honey sticks -- I got a little nostalgic at Chelsea Market when I saw these. Growing up, I loved getting them at the farmers market up the street from my dad's office.

Ann Taylor Loft Chambray Top - I want one!

I've been craving the yummy fresh watermelon juice after Bikram Yoga, gives me some motivation to get back into the studio

Max Studio Pumps - even the men in my office commented on how much they liked these :)

Jessica Alba's hair color, so gorgeous

DIY Body Scrubs

I found a great article on homemade body and face scrubs on Whole Living. When I'm back at my parents house, my mom has an abundent of fun foods and oils that I turn into lovely body scrubs. My favorite: olive oil, fresh lemon, lemon zest and raw sugar. Or substitute the lemon for almond and vanilla extract. So yummy!

Above is a Coffee Zest Body Scrub
1/2 cup used coffee grounds
1/2 cup honey
1 Tbsp. fresh orange zest

Essie Winter 2010

Essie's A Winter's Tale collection. Love love love the silken cord. Got a great deal from the Dealist for a mani/pedi so hopefully the salon has these!

Clinique Bonus Time

It's clinique bonus time at Macy's until October 24...

I've been wanting to create a "go-to" makeup bag for work to keep at my desk. I often have to go out to dinner or client meetings at last notice so I need something for touchups. This is perfect! I love the eye palette, it has three great shades that you can layer to create a more dramatic look or wear them single for something more simple. The other products include a red lipstick, mascara, face cream and an eye depuffer. All I need to add is a concealer, eyeliner and some bronzer. This is way cheaper and far more fun than anything I would have bought pre-assembled at sephora!

I'm in love with this lip gloss from Burt's Bees. This color Raisin has a beautiful red tint that's universially flattering.... I'm going back to get one for my desk drawer and work bag.
