It's definitely been a rainy couple of days in the city. In need of a little sunshine (and a tan) here are some things that have brightened it up my week a little, including my kick ass leopard umbrella!
Colorful Toy Watches... I'm on a watch kick lately, just got myself a beautiful white one for the summer. Would love to add an orange or blue to the mix
When I think of April I think nice weather, open-toe shoes, lunch outside and ice coffee. Here are a few things that I'm looking forward too this month as the weather gets warmer..... The $1.99 daffodils at Trader Joe's -- always adds some bright color to my little kitchen
The Brewster and Bloom Parade on Cape Cod - forever reminds me of April, when we were little my mom used to load us into the Bronco and we'd park outside of my grandmothers deli to watch the parade on her tailgate. My aunts and cousins would join us as we'd watch with turkey sandwichs in hand.

Everyday on my way to work, the bus passes Burberry down in the west village and the above ad takes over one of the store front windows. You can't really tell now but the leather skirt is absolutely gorgeous with the two front zipper detailing. one day......
Last year, Francois Payard organized the first Macaron Day in NYC inspired by the Jour de Macaron in Paris -- why wouldn't Paris have a day dedicated to macarons? All the more reason why I want to live there. In the mean time, I can celebrate that across NYC bakeries will be giving away macarons all day on Sunday, March 20. Yes, I will be spending my sunday patisserie hopping.
